The thesis this register tests
Adjudication appears to favour clever geometry and punish clever mechanisms. The double diffuser, the bargeboards on appeal, six wheels and mini-DRS all survived their challenge. The fan car, the twin chassis, the mass damper, FRIC and DAS all died. 1 of the 22 cases here were never closed by any rule at all.
The claim is falsifiable and the register is how it gets tested — which is why every case carries its closure mechanism and its confidence level rather than a verdict.
